In many parts of the world, the temperature drops in the latter part of the year up until January. Some people bundle up and enjoy as much of the holidays as possible in front of heaters and fireplaces. For others, they pack up and head to Sydney, Australia.
Summer in Sydney coincide with the cold times of the year in the northern hemisphere. In January, temperatures are said to average around 24 degrees Celsius, although the daytime high is of course higher – between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius and sometimes significantly higher in the hottest part of the day, but dipping to around 15 to 20 degrees Celsius overnight, making it the perfect party weather to celebrate with the rest of the town the annual Festival of Sydney.
